Whitman County Growers, Inc.
"Where the Customer is the Company"

About Our Company...

Located in the heart of the largest wheat and barley producing county in the nation, Whitman County Growers Inc. is a farmer-owned grain cooperative formed in 1972 through a merger of the Pullman and Colfax Grain Growers.

From our main office in Colfax, Washington we provide marketing, storage, transportation and quality seed to over 600 patrons in Eastern Washington through a network of facilities in 13 locations, which include two-unit train loading facilities and barge terminals at the Port of Almota and Central Ferry.

Whitman County Growers owns and operates three semi-trucks for transporting farm-stored grain to  our unit train or barge terminal facilities.  As a branch office of Country Hedging, we also handle futures and options on all the major grain exchanges for our patrons.

Management structure consists of a seven-member Board of Directors who establish company policy and represent the needs of our customer-owners.
